Lisburn group to host Tea Party

THE Lisburn branch of Parkinson’s UK is inviting people to join them for a Tea Party for Parkinson’s on Thursday April 19 at Café Inspirations, Graham Gardens Lisburn at 10.30am.

The event is part of Parkinson’s Awareness Week 2012 (16 - 22 April).

Parkinson’s is a degenerative neurological condition and there is currently no cure.

The Lisburn group meets on the third Monday of every month in Lisburn Racquets Club and offers information, friendship and support to local people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers.

The charity will also have an information stand in Lisburn Health Centre from Tuesday 17 until Friday 20 April.
