Lisburn B&B makes shortlist

Lynne and Jonathan McCabe’s Lisnacurran Country House has made it to the final 10 in the third annual eviivo awards, which celebrate the UK’s best B&Bs, guesthouses and independent small hotels.

Lisnacurran has been shortlisted for the Most Beautifully Presented award, which recognises the best use of wording, photography and design of the property’s website, as well as assessing the quality and cleanliness of the interior design and the property’s physical presentation.

The McCabes have been running the B&B since 2008.

“For us,” said Lynne, “it’s all about the customer and making sure they have the best possible experience but it’s wonderful to know that we’ve been recognised for all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes each day.”

The winners will be revealed at a black-tie dinner Awards ceremony on October 18 at the UnderGlobe, found beneath Shakespeare’s Globe theatre in central London.
