Legacurry WI host a visitors’ night

The Legacurry WI recently held a visitors’ night.

They warmly welcomed ladies from Crossgar, Magheragall, Moneyrea, Spa and Legacurry Everywoman.

Guest speaker was Tracy Hamilton of Mash Direct, a family owned farm going back five generations, who diversified and set up Mash Direct and have just celebrated their tenth anniversary.

They specialise in growing vegetables, steaming and mashing them and selling to outlets all over the UK, South of Ireland and overseas.

An interesting and informative talk ended with everyone receiving a goodybag. A

delicious supper brought a very enjoyable evening to a close.

Birthday girl was Joan Laughlin.

Please note that after the summer break, meetings will recommence on Monday 15 September in Legacurry Church Hall at 8pm.

New members are very welcome.
