Laugh out Loud at Fourscore Orange Hall
GLENAVY: A very different ‘LOL’ (Loyal Orange Lodge) fundraising event proved to be a case of ‘LOL’ (Laugh Out Loud) at Fourscore Orange Hall on Friday March 16.
The stage of the hall was transformed with backdrops, settees and lounge furniture to create a typical living room scene as Lisnamurrican Players (Broughshane) presented ‘Family Fever’, a comedy play by Sam Cree.
After the customary curtain call and applause at the end of the play, James Tinsley Jnr (Worshipful Master) thanked the visiting thespians for providing a great evening of entertainment and commended them for their innovative charity work in raising funds for the Royal Victoria Hospital Liver Support Unit.
James concluded by giving a very special thanks to Fourscore LOL 340 Ladies Committee who organised the event and prepared and served an excellent supper.
