Lambeg family fun day

Lambeg Parish is having it’s first Family Fun Day at Glenmore Activity centre this Saturday (June 6) from 1pm until 4pm.

The event is aimed at young families and the centre, marquee and grounds will house lots of attractions and activities for children and their parents.

These will include a bouncy castle, cage football, a magic show featuring Paul Gomac at 2.30pm, puppets, and parachute games, etc.

Those attending are also invited to bring along their canine family members for a ‘Gruffs Dog Show at 1.30pm. Classes include Waggiest Tale, Best Dressed male/female and Best Tricks.

Entrance is free and burger and hot dogs will be on sale. Tea/coffee, cold drinks and tray-bakes will also be available (all free).

Arrangements are in the hands of the parish’s Messy Church Team and a super event is expected.

The leaders point out that t his is a Family Day – consequently children and young people up to 14 years of age are expected to be accompanied by an adult.
