Hundreds already signed up to ‘Support Your Local Hospital’

HUNDREDS of local people have already made their voices heard about the reduction in opening hours at the A&E at the Lagan Valley Hospital, with petitions which appeared in last weeks Star, already coming back to our Bow Street office.

It is clear that the people of Lisburn are ready to stand up and be counted and the Star would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has already signed up to the ‘Support Your Local Hospital’ campaign.

But in order to achieve the best possible health facilities for the city, the whole community must come together and put the weight of public opinion behind the campaign.

You can show your bakcing for the campaign by filling in the petition in this newspaper.

Encourage friends, relatives and colleagues to also put pen to paper. Take a copy or photocopy to groups you belong to or places of work and send your completed petition back to the Ulster Star, 12A Bow Street, Lisburn, BT28 1BN as soon as possible.
