Hillsborough WI in full festive spirit
The programmes at Hillsborough WI helped members get into the festive mood and prepare
for Christmas.
In November there was a demonstration by Andrew Mulholland who showed members how to bone a turkey. Christopher Ferguson then iced a Christmas cake and decorated a Black Forest Gateau.
The competition was A dressed Potato and was won by Helen Glass with Margaret Murphy coming second.

Hide AdIn December the members were in full festive spirit and enjoyed Christmas fare followed by games and a visit from Santa. Musical entertainment was provided by Housty.
The competition was six pieces of shortbread and was won by Irene Mercer, with Kathleen McClure coming second.
