Heartless thieves target church
Police are appealing for information following a break in at a church in Co Down.
It is understood the incident at Saintfield Baptist Church occurred sometime between Easter Sunday and today (April 7).
A police spokesperson said: “A safe has been broken into and a sum of money is believed to have been stolen. If anyone has noticed any suspicious activity in the area, please call 101, quoting reference number 407 07/04/2018.”
