Lagan Valley MLA Paul Givan has said the Health Service will be a key priority in the next Assembly term.
“The growing demands on our health service require continual reform to ensure these pressures can be met,” said Mr Givan. “Failure to reform will mean the failure of our health and social care system. Over the past five years progress has been made but much more needs to be done. Cutting unnecessary layers of bureaucracy is already taking place and a catalyst for change will be the establishment of a transformation fund to help make the service delivery changes that are needed.”
