British Heart Foundation Northern Ireland staff and volunteers will be in Lisburn this month encouraging locals to donate to their Bag It. Beat It stock donation campaign.
The group will be in Bow Street Mall on September 28 and 29 encouraging people to clear out the clutter and donate their unwanted stuff to the Lisburn charity shop.
They will be handing out bags that people can use to collect their unwanted clothes, accessories, books, DVDs, bric-a-brac and toys that can then be donated and sold in the BHF Lisburn charity shop.
The public can then bring the bags to their local shop or have it collected free of charge from their home.
Maureen McElhatton, Area Manager of BHF Northern Ireland shops said: “Every week around 35 families in Northern Ireland lose a loved one to coronary heart disease, but with donations to our Bag It. Beat It. campaign this September BHF Northern Ireland will be able to fight harder to reduce this figure.”
The BHF charity shop Lisburn is at 14-16 Bow Street. To arrange free pick up of bags ring Freephone 0808 250 0024.
