Golf Club outing for Hillhall ladies

Hillhall WI Vice President Lorna Sleator welcomed members to Dunmurry GC for the January meeting, where everyone enjoyed a great meal.

Anna Scott had some competitions to keep everyone’s brains active and the winner for a joke from a Christmas cracker was Rosalind Boomer, Doris Cosset in second and Bina Brown in third.

On a very wintry evening in February Sarah Young from Dobbies was welcomed to the Braniel Hall.

She brought along lots of ideas for spring and summer planting of flowers and vegetables, finishing by planting up a vibrant pink planter which she generously donated to the ballot won by Katie Turner.

The competition was won by Margaret McCracken, with Gwen Conlin in second and Rosalind Boomer in third.
