Friends’ teamaims to add toregional success

A TEAM of four pupils from Friends’ has the chance to compete against teams from across the United Kingdom for this year’s UK Team Maths Challenge trophy after triumphing in the regional final.

The team of John Dawson, Andrew Murphy, Jinkun Zhong and Ben Spiers finished in first place at the regional final held in Rockport School and won the opportunity to compete in the national final at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London later this year.

In all 1500 schools entered the competition and 80 have qualified to take part in the final.
