A recent fundraising Country and Western Night, with Hugo Duncan and friends, at Lisburn’s St Paul’s Court, has been hailed “a great success”.
A spokesperson said the Praxis Care event earlier this month was enjoyed by all who attended.
“The money raised will go directly towards improving the activity room which will provide opportunities for individuals affected by dementia to engage in a wide range of activities,” she said.
“St Paul’s Court would like to thank - for their support and donations in helping to ensure the night was possible - Hugo Duncan, Country Harmony, Boxcar Brian, Bonnie Stewart and Kenny Archer, Lisnagarvey High School (in particular Stephen), Country Kitchen Bakery, Vic-Ryn Lisburn, Tesco Lisburn, Costa Lisburn, Bowman Windows Banbridge, Kosy King Coal and Fuels Cookstown, Lurgan Road Day Services, Lagan Valley LeisurePlex, Coke Factory, Boots Lisburn, Hagues Bar Lisburn, Pop Hair Lisburn, Garbos Lisburn, Coopers Restaurant, Massey Fleckner, Nailed 2 Perfection, Mace Longstone, Spences Bakery Longstone, Laurelhill Nursing home staff, Hope Hair by Nadine, Ian Wilson, Paul Collins, Hugh Maxwell, Margaret Rice and all our volunteers.

“We have raised around £1,400 and we all had a great night.
