'˜Elderly people often struggle to recover from being burgled'
A post on the PSNI Lisburn, Banbridge and Craigavon PSNI Facebook pages said: “These aren’t just stolen goods, they’re stolen memories.
“Across South Area, we’re working hard in our fight against burglary. Unfortunately we see many instances where elderly people have been the victim - our parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and family friends.

The post adds: “Elderly people often struggle to recover from being burgled and the effects are long lasting.
“Help us to help them. There are people out there who know more about those involved and where these items end up - and we’re asking you to tell us.
“You can even do it anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or via their website.”
