Laurelhill Community College held its P6 Activity Days recently.
During the event, P6 pupils from 14 local primary schools in Lisburn were invited to attend.
Pupils were able to sample the delights and varied curriculum which Laurelhill has to offer, gaining hands on experience in a variety of new practical subjects such as Technology and Design, Home Economics, Science and Music.
The students took part in in several subjects, moving from class to class throughout the morning.
The P6 students thoroughly enjoyed the experiences on offer leaving with tasty treats from the Home Economics department, fantastic creations made in Technology and Design, but an insight into secondary school life.
Naturally there are alot of changes for the children to get used to which make the transition all the more daunting.
At Laurelhill Community College they hope to make that transition as smooth and exciting as possible, so pupils can learn and achieve together.
All pupils performed superbly during the three day event.
Included in the pictures are several of the local primary schools who visited over the course of the past three days. For more news and events, visit our college website www.laurelhillcollege.co.uk or find them on Facebook.
