Drugs seized by police during District raid

Police in Lisburn and Castlereagh found suspected drugs and made an arrest recently in the District

Inspector Robinson explained: “During a proactive search the District Support Team discovered enough suspected cannabis to fill two pillow cases, as well a number of other items. One man aged in his 30s was arrested and released pending further enquiries. Other suspected drugs were also seized as part of the Lisburn and Castlereagh PSNI District Support Team’s commitment to remove harmful drugs from this community. “

The police have appealed for anyone with information about crime in the District to contact the police .

“We would appeal for anyone who has any information on crime and criminality to contact us on 101. Ask for a local officer and tell us what you know,” added Inspector Robinson.
