Derriaghy WI hold annual dinner

PRESIDENT of Derriaghy Women’s Institute Pat Allen welcomed all to the Annual Dinner, which was held at Dunmurry Golf Club.

A delicious meal was served and everyone enjoyed an evening of friendship and lively conversation.

The president announced that the Institute had come third in the Area Quiz and presented each member of the team with a pen. The birthday girl was Ann Farr.

The evening ended with the Secretary, Enid Thomas, proposing a vote of thanks to the President for her hard work and dedication.

The next meeting, which is a visitors’ night is on Friday, April 5. The speaker, Terence Bowman, will talk about his interesting search for a lost ancestor.
