Derriaghy WI enjoy supper
In May members of Derriaghy WI visited the Island Centre in Lisburn where they met the Mayor of Lisburn City Council, Margaret
Tolerton.
After a conducted tour of the building the ladies enjoyed a delicious supper with the Mayor.
The Annual General Meeting was held in June and Ann Hunter was elected president for the incoming year. Good wishes were extended to honorary member Agnes Major who celebrated her 100th birthday in May.
The next meeting will take place on Monday September 1 at 7.30pm in Christ Church Parochial Hall, Derriaghy. New members are very welcome.
