Crumlin firm Randox Laboratories has announced it is to create 540 new jobs when it redevelops the former Massereene army base in Antrim, into a manufacturing and research facility in an investment totalling £161m.
Randox develops medical tests and makes diagnostic equipment used in labs in more than 145 countries.
The company said the jobs would pay average salaries of £30,000 and will be created over the next four years.
The site will be renamed Randox Science Park.
The jobs are in scientific, engineering, manufacturing and sales.
