Police appeal for information after burglary in Warren Gardens

Detectives are appealing for information after a report of a burglary in the Warren Gardens area of Lisburn on Monday, April 19.

Shortly after 9am, it was reported that sometime overnight, someone tried to break into a vehicle parked outside a garage at an address in the area.

It was reported that they then broke a lock attached to this garage.

Detective Constable Victor Flavin said: “While nothing was taken, various locks were damaged at different sheds attached to two different properties and damage was caused to the driver’s door of the vehicle.

“The victim has been left shaken by what was a distressing crime and I would appeal for anyone with any information to contact police on 101 quoting reference 317 of 19/04/21.

“If you were in the area overnight, particularly around 1.30am and saw anything or may have dashcam footage, please get in touch.”
