Police appeal after fire

Police are investigating an intentional arson at the rear of the shops on Knockmore Square, Lisburn on Thursday November 19.

A burning bin was pushed up against the rear of the shops during the incident, causing damage to the property.

The fire was reported to Police at 11.30pm and the Fire and Rescue Service were tasked to the scene.

On this occasion the fire was extinguished by teh Fire Service before it caused severe damage to the properties.

Anyone with information about the incident or who saw anyone suspicious in the area, can contact Police on the non-emergency number 101.
