A young person has been saved from near death after a large scale police search in the Lisburn area.
It is understood the person had attempted to take their own life and was found by PSNI officers in a heavily wooded area “with not even a minute to spare”.
The incident took place on Saturday night and the search involved police dog and air support.
A post on the PSNI Lisburn Facebook page said members of D Section arrived “just in time” and administered first aid until the ambulance arrived, taking the person to hospital for further medical treatment.
