Community arts workshops planned
The Island Arts Centre will be holding a series of workshops aimed at local community groups.
As part of the Community Arts Training Scheme, free workshops will be offered to community leaders, staff and volunteers to enable them to gain the skills to deliver arts-based workshops to their own groups.
The next workshop will be held on Tuesday February 16 from 7pm until 9pm and is entitled ‘Mother’s Day Crafts for Kids’. Further workshops will be held on March 15, which will creatie crafts for Easter, and on April 19 the workshop will help to make props for the Mayor’s parade.
