As part of The Diamond Rural Development Group’s continuing efforts to involve and entertain the local community, it is holding a Christmas Cracker night in Skeogh Orange Hall on Thursday 26 November at 7pm.
The night will include Christmas-themed craft and floral arrangement demonstrations to help in the preparations for the big day in December.
The Southern Area Hospice will also be in attendance with a gift stall for those wishing to have Christmas gifts with a special meaning.
A spokesperson said: “At a cost of £5 per person - with all under 12s free - which includes a light festive supper, the night should be both informative and entertaining to all those wishing to make the festive season extra special.
“To help those wanting to stay in shape through the festive season the group also continues to organise dancing classes which are held each Tuesday evening in the hall at 7.30 pm with the latest classes learning to quickstep their way through Christmas.”
