Cars damaged in early morning petrol bomb attack

POLICE in Lisburn are appealing for information after petrol bombs were thrown in the Barnfield Grange area of Lisburn in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Shortly after 1.30am, it was reported that two cars parked in the area were petrol bombed. One of the vehicles had its rear window smashed and fire damage to the rear of the vehicle. A petrol bomb was believed to have struck the rear of the second vehicle.

Anyone with information about the incident or noticed anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact police in Lisburn on 0845 600 8000.
