Calling local musicians for charity cafe gig

A Lisburn Café will open its doors to musicians later this month in a bid to raise funds for a local children's charity.

Kristina Hel is inviting musicians to play at Vermillion Café on Castle Street on January 29.

Proceeds from business takings throughout the day and evening will be donated to Cancer Fund for Children.

The charity relies on fundraising to help provide vital services which includes practical, emotional and financial support to local families affected by cancer as well as free therapeutic short breaks.

Cancer Fund for Children understands the devastating impact a cancer diagnosis and treatment can have on the whole family.

Its team of experienced specialists helps families cope with the impact cancer has on their lives by supporting them during and after treatment and sadly in some cases, bereavement.

Kristina said: “I am so excited about holding this event and I’m hoping local musicians and the general public will support it as it is for such a fantastic cause.”

Cancer Fund for Children is the leading local cancer charity that provides practical, financial and therapeutic support to children, teenagers and young adults living with cancer, and their families.
