Busy festive period for CCTV operators
Over course of three weeks during Christmas and New Year, CCTV operators in Lisurn were responsible for noting over one hundred incidents of criminal behaviour in the Lisburn city area.
CCTV operators logged 142 incidents during the festive period.
Amongst the incidents recorded, twenty-two persons arrested for Disorderly Behaviour, Theft and Going Equipped and Handling Stolen Goods, Suspicion of Possessing Class A Drugs, Common Assault, Criminal Damage, GBH with Intent and Possession of an Offensive Weapon and Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm.
