A Dunmurry based funeral directors is celebrating after winning a prestrigious Customer Service Award.
Elwood and Capper were recently presented with a national award for customer service after being praised by people who bought a prepaid funeral plan from them during 2014/15.
One customer who completed the questionnaire praised the local firm desbribing them as ‘Excellent. Gives peace of mind’.
Mr Brian Elwood and colleagues at Elwood and Capper Independent Funeral Directors and Memorial Masons received the 2015 Customer Service Award Certificate following responses to a customer survey conducted by Funeral Planning Services, the company who provides administrative and investment services associated with prepaid funeral plans.
Plan buyers who responded to the questionnaire said they felt Mr Elwood and Elwood and Capper Independent Funeral Directors and Memorial Masons, provided them with a helpful and informative service which made making arrangements easy and provided peace of mind that final wishes were set out clearly and paid for.
Plan buyers said they had peace of mind knowing their loved ones would not be burdened with having to make decisions at a difficult time, or have to worry about unexpected financial costs when the time came.
Pre-paid funeral plans – whereby funeral arrangements can be made and paid for at today’s prices, however many years pass by before that funeral needs to take place – are an increasingly welcome way to invest at today’s prices and avoid the difficulties associated with quickly rising funeral service costs.
