Lisburn business Edina Manufacturing Ltd has been included on the recently announced shortlist for the 2015 Action Renewables Awards.

The local business has been announced as a finalist in the category of Best Planning for Renewable Energy Project for their work in completing a 150kw output AD plant for the Taylor family of Drumlee, which demonstrates the successful application of AD technologies on a smaller scale.

Now in their seventh year, the prestigious industry awards, sponsored by Tughans Solicitors and electricity supplier Vayu, are gearing up for their biggest year yet, set to take place on Friday March 27 2015.

Terry Waugh, Deputy Director, Action Renewables, commented: “As more individuals and organisations begin to see the value of installing renewables and implementing renewables practices, we have seen the quality of entries increase year-on-year. Northern Ireland is setting an example of how renewables can successfully be put into practice.”
