Book of condolence presented

The Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, Councillor Thomas Beckett has joined with several Northern Ireland Councils to present Books of Condolence to the French Honorary Consul, Regine McCullough.

Books of Condolence were opened across Northern Ireland following the terrorist attacks in Paris in November 2015.

The Mayor said: “I was very pleased to meet other Mayors who were in attendance, representing their respective areas and I would like to thank Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for bringing us together.

“We continue to think of those families who lost loved ones only a short time ago.”

Alderman James Tinsley said: “I hope Mrs McCullough will pass on the thoughts and prayers of all of us and that some comfort for those who lost loved ones will be taken.”
