Throughout December, Belvoir Lisburn has been part of Downtown Radio and Cool FM’s huge fundraising drive for the ‘Cash for Kids Campaign’, and would like to thank everyone for all their help in donating cash and presents to the Campaign. They donated two bicycles and safety helmets to the campaign.

Belvoir’s Director Michael McGrath agreed his office on the corner of Bow Street and Antrim Street could be used as a drop-off point for presents.

He said: “People have been very generous, and we have received a lot of toys for all age groups. I cannot thank everyone enough for their generosity and the donations have been very gratefully received by the Mission Christmas Campaign.”

Supporters and staff of Belvoir Lisburn also took part in the Cash for Kids Santa Dash in Belfast, raising 167.47. Overall the event raised £312.47.

Last year 6,334 children received a parcel thanks to Mission Christmas, with all toys donated going to disadvantaged children in communities in Northern Ireland.
