Hillsborough Old Guard is organising a battlefield tour of Northern France and Belgium later this year and there are a few places left on the trip.
The tour will run from August 28 until September 4.
A spokesperson said: “We have a full itinerary, with stops at Tyne Cott, Essex Farm, Thiepval Memorial and Sanctuary Wood cemeteries, to name a few.
“We will also be spending time at Martinsart.
“There we will be meeting the Mayor to thank him and the village for looking after the graves of 10 of our brave war dead from Hillsborough, who are buried together in the small graveyard that is so immaculately kept. We will be staying in Bruges, Amiens and Paris.”
For further information contact a member of Hillsborough Old Guard at the Sexton’s House in the grounds of Hillsborough Parish Church, any Saturday or Sunday.
