Banbridge Youth Council want you for summer residential

The Banbridge District Youth Council, who are looking for new members.

They’re all set for a residential in Shannaghmore Outdoor Education Centre from the 3rd to the 5th July and would like any potential new members to come along.

“We are a group of young people aged 15-17, who actively provide a voice for young people in our area in regards to any concerns you may have, or improvements that you might suggest to benefit the Banbridge District, promoting inclusion for all,” said a group spokesperson.

“We feel that this (residential) would be a great opportunity for you, the youth in our area to gain an insight and understanding of what we do, in the hope that this may inspire you to join in on the adventure and provide a positive change in our area.

“We’re looking for people who will bring originality, strong ideas and a fresh perspective to our work in the coming year.”

The residential costs just £10, including travel to and from Banbridge, accommodation, meals and all of the action-packed activities that are lined up.
