Armed robbery at Ballymacash

Detectives in Lisburn are appealing for information following an armed robbery of commercial premises on the Ballymacash Road of Lisburn on Saturday, June 14.

At approximately 4.05pm a male person, wearing a scarf around his face and armed with a screwdriver entered the premises. He went behind the counter and threatened a female member of staff with the screwdriver before making off with the cash register drawer.

The male got into a Renault Laguna car, Reg No HT04 NAU, which was stolen in a creeper burglary in the Cloona Park area of Dunmurry on Wednesday, June 11. There was a second male in the car.
