Action Cancer provides services to those in our community and their families who have had a cancer diagnosis and with one in every two people receiving a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime; our services have never before been in such demand.”

Action Cancer has now expanded counselling and therapy services into Coleraine and Portrush adding to existing services offered in Strabane, and Londonderry and complementary therapy sessions in Lurgan for cancer patients and their families.

“We began to roll out our new look shops in 2013 and they have went down very well with our customers and the wider public.

“With plans to open a further two stores this year and more in the future we hope to offer a new charity retailing experience for the customer .

“And I am sure our new customers and supporters in Lisburn will agree and will be very pleased with the new look.”

With their charity shops bringing in over one million pounds in annual income, the services offered by Action Cancer are set to benefit.

With Counselling for adults and young people, Complementary Therapy and Positive Living (life coaching) programmes being offered and delivered at Action Cancer House to people affected by cancer, all funds raised are spent locally.
