Lisburn band to play Auntie Annies

LISBURN band Tric are getting ready for a headline gig at Auntie Annies in Belfast.

The trio will be taking the stage on June 1 and they are hoping their hometown fans will come out to support them.

Tric was formed out of the ashes of the semi-famous Belfast-based band Jackknife in late 2010, and have currently been playing gigs up and down the country in an endless effort to expand an already strong fan base.

With scorching lead guitar and vocals from Dale Hunter, pounding drums from Ryan Quinn and thunderous bass from Rory Judge, Tric are a breath of fresh air on the local music scene.

The band are fresh out of the studio laying down their much anticipated debut mini album, ‘Rock Road’.

‘Rock Road’ was laid down the old fashioned way, six spine-tingling tracks of 24 carat pure rock gold recorded in just five days.

Now the band are hitting the road to bring the album to life for their legions of fans.

As well as their Belfast date, local band will also be playing a hometown gig at Alexanders Bar in Lisburn on Saturday June 16. Support that night will come courtesy of Ruhk and another well-known Lisburn band, Mojo Fury.

Tric will be supported at Auntie Annies on June 1 by the Stevie K Band and Warcrux. Doors open at 9pm and admission is just £4.
