Laugh it up at HaHaHagues

AFTER a barnburner of a night in August, HaHaHague’s returns for its third instalment on September 16, with one of the best line-ups of local talent to be found anywhere in the country.

The headliner for the evening will be Magic George Quinn. Children’s entertainer in the day, comedian in the evening, George is one of the most consistently entertaining acts on the circuit. The regular MC at Belfast’s open mic night Big Laughs At The Big House, and multi-time performer at the Empire, Magic George has had audiences in stitches with his anarchic fun-loving style.

Joining George will be superstar poet/comedian Marcus Keeley. Wise beyond his years, Marcus is a thoroughly entertaining comedian, as he despairs about everything, from himself to the world around. Due to perform his one man show ‘I Was Dark & It Was Drunk’ at October’s Belfast Fringe Festival, Marcus on stage is a joy to behold.

Lisburn’s own Johnny McCarthy has been a comedian for less than a year, and already is one of the most confident and funny acts around. Johnny has wowed audiences around the country, and will undoubtedly continue his streak in Lisburn.

Affectionately known as The Godfather, Graeme Watson is promoter of Big Laughs Belfast, Northern Ireland’s biggest comedy collective. After recently deciding to end his semi-retirement from stand-up, Graeme will be making a rare appearance at HaHaHague’s, and if his recent MC spot at Sunflowerfest is anything to go by, he’ll rock your socks.

Relative newcomer Ronan Linskey brings a surrealist spin to his material. In fact, it’s quite clear his mind doesn’t work like other people’s. One of the most promising acts to come through in recent times, Ronan is one to watch out for.

Finally, the MC for the evening will be funnyman Adam Laughlin. Regular MC at Big Laughs at The Black Box, Adam is undoubtedly one of the funniest and most consistent acts on the entire Northern Irish circuit. Sadly now without his once-gigantic beard, Adam fortunately still has some of the best material you’ll find anywhere.

Again, this is one of the strongest line-ups to be found anywhere, and it can be witnessed on September 16 for just £4. Doors are at 8pm, and the show starts at 9.
