There are several interesting photographs including pictures one of Belfast Zoo secretary Patricia McLaughlin with Monty the Python.

Patricia was sharing her office with Monty in March 1982 until the new snake house was completed in 1985.

Another picture is of Mrs Jane Prior, wife of the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, centre left, handed over a cheque for £9,000 to the Ulster Hospital Heart Fund on behalf of the Belfast Round Table in March 1982. She is pictured with Dr Denis Boyle, a consultant cardiologist and head of the Ulster Hospital’s coronary care unit, and Tony Spence, organiser of a sponsored walk which raised the money, and Alan Aston, Round Table chairman.

See who you might see from days gone by.
