The young players from the Lagan Small Sided Games teams were busy baking to make cakes and buns for the often unsung heroes of the NHS, the porters, transport workers and cleaners.

Some of the volunteers have also been busy working with the Ballymacash Covid19 Response Team and Lisburn Foodbank over the last few weeks in assisting the vulnerable in the area. With this new partnership, Lisburn Foodbank also donated various Teas, Coffees and healthy snack bars for the NHS staff that volunteers delivered on their behalf.

The kids and parents of Ballymacash Rangers Youth as usual rose to the occasion and baked so many cakes and buns that there was enough for all the departments of the Lagan Valley Hospital to get a share.
