Graeme Jenkins, CEO of Dobbies, said: “We welcome this updated guidance from the Northern Irish Government, enabling us to reopen our Lisburn store. The safety of our team members and customers remains Dobbies’ number one priority.

“Spring is the time when people want to get back out into their gardens, and with proven health and wellbeing benefits, reopening in Northern Ireland is a positive development.

''As the Lisburn store reopens, bedding plants are predicted to be popular with local customers this year, with Hydrangeas the most popular plant in 2020.

''With houseplants, Foliage was popular last year with the trend for Cyclamen set to increase in 2021.''
