Council present first Halloween Market

Due to take place on the final Saturday of this month, Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council has announced a new market to its 2019 calendar of Food and Drink events to be hosted in the heart of Dundonald.

‘Keeping Hillhall Safe’ project gets funds

Co-Ownership, a non-profit organisation that provides shared ownership housing, gave local community groups the opportunity to apply to their Community Fund to receive up to £15,000 for projects to help regenerate, rebuild and revitalise neighbourhoods and communities.

Alpha pair turn clock back..almost!

A thrilling semi-final victory over seasoned international pair Eugene McKenna and Graham Henderson back in October 2012 was to set Tony Murphy and Tony Stephenson on their way to the coveted Ulster Open Men’s Doubles title and went into this season’s Forza Ulster Premier Open with a fair degree of optimism.

Four members of Ophir Karate were selected to represent Ireland at the 46th Federation of European Wado-Kai Karate championship in Hungary 5-6 October 2019 and certainly did not let the side down.
