GLASGOWBURY have announced a further 18 acts, including Kowalski, Katie & The Carnival and Enemies, who will take to the stage at this year’s festival.

The line-up continues to build with over 40 acts now confirmed for the July Eagle’s Rock spectacular.

The full list of newly confirmed acts includes Kowalski, The Man Whom, Enemies, Katie & The Carnival, Droids, Tied To Machines, The Dead Presidents, The 1930s, Tucan, The Jepettos, Scorpion Jack, Fox Jaw Bounty Hunters, John Deery & The Heads, Master & Dog, Humanshield, Mojo Gogo, Intermission and a festival exclusive performance from Derry’s 4 Conors (a collective involving Conor Mason, Conor McAteer, Conor O’Kane and Connor Kelly).

They join a festival bill which already includes exclusive performances from NI rock giants Therapy?, The Japanese Popstars, Fighting With Wire, Axis Of and many more.

“This year’s line-up reflects the diversity and scale of talent that we have at our fingertips,” said festival organiser Paddy Glasgow.

“Glasgowbury aims to be the sort of festival which celebrates the best in new and established homegrown talent and the large variety of acts on show this year contributes to what I think is one of the most exciting Glasgowbury line-ups yet.”

This year’s festival will also see the re-introduction of the G Spot comedy stage with the best in local and homegrown talent while the festival site will be packed with fun activities for all ages. Glasgowbury 2012 takes place across the weekend of July 21 and early bird tickets are on sale until the end of May at 2010 prices.
