Mirenda is back in Lisburn by popular demand

BACK by popular demand, Mirenda Rosenberg will be performing at the Island Arts Centre on Saturday October 2 at 8pm.

She will be performing her wickedly delicious brand of soul, blues, funk and jazz.

This charismatic singer has showcased her vocal talents and performance skills throughout Ireland and even opened for the legendary Chuck Berry on two separate occasions.

Born in Springfield, Illinois, Mirenda grew up outside Washington DC. The daughter of an ordained minister, Mirenda's musical influences were initially restricted to Christian and classical music. The discovery of jazz and blues opened up a whole new musical soundscape and introduced her to the likes of Billie Holliday and Bessie Smith - formative influences who have remained constant companions on her musical journey.

Some singers own the stage - Mirenda Rosenberg owns the stage, the dance floor and sometime the audience's personal space when she performs.
