Metal band gear up for Lisburn gig

FIVE piece metal band ForChristSake are gearing up for a Lisburn show later this year when they play at Exodus in Lisburn on June 26.

ForChristSake are a metal band based in Belfast, although lead guitarist Simon is from Lisburn and bassist Mark is from Magheralin.

The band was started by drummer Isnatios in 2001. However, there was no stable line-up until around 2008.

The current line-up consists of Guy on lead vocals/keyboards, Seraphim on rhythm guitar/backing vocals, Simon on lead guitar/backing vocals, Ignatios on drums/vocals and Mark on bass.

ForChristSake recorded their debut EP 'Death is But a Breath Away' at Shabby Road studio in Belfast.

As well as playing at Exodus in June, the band will be performing at the Ivy Bar in Newtownards on April 23 and at the Pavilion Bar in Belfast on June 27.
