Gareth Dunlop to appear at Nashville fest
The 10th United Airlines Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival will feature Gareth Dunlop and his band live at The Belfast Empire on Thursday, March 6.
One of Northern Ireland’s most revered and successful songwriters; Gareth Dunlop’s reputation is based on a wonderful singing voice and a strong body of material, influenced by soul, country, folk and blues.
Gareth has a long association with the BelNash Festival. He was awarded ‘Young Songwriter of the year’ back in 2011 and he also showcased in Nashville where he secured a publishing deal resulting in with songs being featured in the movie Safe Haven, and numerous hit American television series including Cougar Town, One Tree Hill, House and most recently the Disney Channel, Germany for which he has re-recorded the song A Whole New World, from the classic 1992 film, Aladdin.
