Lisnagarvey Operatic stages Sweet Charity

Recently Lisnagarvey Operatic Society staged the hit musical Sweet Charity in the Island Hall.

Charity sings, dances, laughs and cries her way through a series of bad relationships but holds out hope and seems to have met a decent fellow in Oscar Lindquist.

But life is never really sweet for Charity, who was played in the Lisburn production by Lauren Molloy.

Featuring a fabulous score, including the classic songs Big Spender, There’s Gotta Be Something Better Than This, Rhythm Of Life, If My Friends Could See Me Now, I’m A Brass Band, and Baby, Dream Your Dream, this comical but tender show proved to be a big hit with thye audiences.
