Rock the meadow at Linenfields Festival

This summer Riverside Meadow in Banbridge will once again be the home of the two day Linenfields Music Festival in August.

Bands and musicians will ‘rock the meadow’ behind the Bannville Hotel during the festival on Friday August 5 and will be ‘keepin’ er country on Saturday August 6.

The first day of the festival will be headlined by Flash Harry, who will be playing the music of Queen.

They will be joined by the ultimate Bon Jovi tribute act Con Jovi, who also performed at the launch event.

Completing the Friday line-up will be Northern Ireland rock quartet Screaming Eagles, who have shared a stage with the likes of Airbourne, UFO, Black Star Riders, Blue Oyster Cult, and The Answer.

Whilst the Friday is all about rock, the Saturday of the festival is taking on a much more country vibe.

This year’s featured artists, include some of the top names from the country music scene; Dominic Kirwan, Mike Denver and Hugo Duncan.

There will be food and refreshment stalls on the festival site, as well as a fully licensed bar.

There is also parking for over 1,000 vehicles. Tickets are priced £12.50 for each day, or £25 for a weekend pass.

Early bird tickets are on sale now from the festival website at www.linenfieldsfestival.com.
