Food themed exhibition brings together thirteen artists at R Space

September's exhibition at the R-Space Gallery in Castle Street gallery is entitled Form Function & Food in response to Northern Ireland's Year of Food and Drink 2016.

Works have been selected from artists and makers producing functional or abstract pieces related to food and dining, and the exhibition includes furniture, fine art, silverware, ceramics, textiles and bread!

The thirteen participants were selected from open call and bring an international line up to Lisburn.

Local Northern Ireland makers sit alongside works from across the UK, and from as far afield as Finland and Australia.

The participating artists are Ellie Niblock, Naimh McConaghy, Caroline Moore, Noel McCullough, Vito Bila, Adi Toch, David Clarke, Silvia K, Jenni Sokura, Tarja Tuupanen, Julia Georgallis, Claire Skelton and Ruth Singer.
