THE sun may not come out 'tomorrow' but it will be out in force when Lisnagarvey Youth Society bring their production of 'Annie' to the Island Hall at the Island Arts Centre on September 5 and 6.
The society have always had a wealth of talent and have brought the Lisburn community some very enjoyable shows over the past number years and this year certainly won't be any different as they bring the much-loved musical to Lisburn.

Lisnagarvey Youth Society's production of The Musical Annie. With Lauren Warren as Annie, Dean Johnson as Warbucks and Emily Dunwoody as Miss Hannigan. Tickets on sale now at the box office 028 9250 9254. US3308-350DW
Heading the cast of 70 young people aged from 8-18 is 11-year-old Lauren Warren in the title role. Lauren's talent and enthusiasm can be experienced from the moment she steps on stage.
Emily Dunwoody is playing the cantankerous Miss Hannigan who runs the orphanage and comes up with a money making plot along with her brother Rooster (Rea Campbell) and his girlfriend Lily (Laura Higginson).
However, it turns out that the Billionaire Oliver Warbucks, ably played by Dean Johnson, and assisted by his secretary Grace Farrell played by Hayley Spence, have other ideas for Annie.
The musical is produced by Simon Cunningham with choreography by Claire Campbell, who are both long serving members of Lisnagarvey Operatic Society. Although this is the first year both of them have had these roles with Lisnagarvey Youth Society you can be assured that the excitement never stops on stage.
Musical Director Roisin McCrisken brings the music, singing and passion alive with her band to complete this production. Additional cast members include Rebecca McClements, Kerry Patterson, Kirsty Higginson, Jordan Mackin, Nicole Brown and Rebecca McComb as the leading orphans, Patrick Gardiner as the long suffering butler Drake and Stuart Archer as the President of the United States Franklin D Roosevelt.
Tickets for this production cost £8.50 and can be obtained from visiting the Lagan Valley Island Box Office, calling 028 92509254 or online at www.tickets.lisburncity.gov.uk.
