THE final countdown is on until one of the events of the summer hits Belfast, when Belsonic will take over Custom House Square.
Music lovers are promised three days of the best artists starting with Flaming Lips making their Northern Irish debut, complete with laser show, state of the art light show and crazy visuals on a huge LED screen.
With Mogwai, Oppenheimer & Jape
also on the bill, a top night is guaranteed on Monday August 11.
Thursday August 14 sees Coventry rockersThe Enemy headlining the festival with Reverend and the Makers, Fighting With Wire, Future of the Left and General Fiasco also on the bill.

The Zutons.
The Zutons will be delivering a storming set on the final night of Belsonic when they roll out gems both old and new on Friday August 15. Supported by Go! Team, Mystery Jets, Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, The Delorentos and Ski Bunny Djs, festival-goers can expect the event to finish with a bang.
Tickets are still available for the shows. Admission for Monday is £35 inc. booking fee, admission for Thursday is £27.50 inc. booking fee and admission for Friday is £30 inc. booking fee.
Gates open at 5.45pm each day with the show starting at 6pm and a curfew at 11.30pm except on Friday when the curfew is 1am.
